This letter from Mr. Bey regarding the finally fair resentencing of a fellow inmate is a good outcome. Yet we are at the same time angered by the intractability of the government in doing what is fair for all regardless of the calendar date of the sentencing, pre or post 2010, under the discredited 100 to 1 Crack Enhancement. Is crack crack, or is it magically changed by having a “born on date”, like Beer? Will crack purveyors seek more for “vintage” crack certified by the government to be 100 times more powerful? Stupid and ridiculous, a government standard. Discuss among yourselves.
